My grandma used to make spritzer cookies that were so good. Sadly, she never gave the recipe, leaving me searching. I found this recipe online and it comes really close!

4 oz. cream cheese (half of a regular size brick)
1 egg yolk
1 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups flour

-Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

-The original recipe called for the dough to be refrigerated over night. I skipped this step and had no problems at all. If your dough is really sticky however (if you live in a warm climate) this might be necessary.
-Press your cookies out onto an un-greased cookie sheet. They don't rise, so you can put them close together.
-If you wish to add sprinkles, now is the time.
-Bake for 8-10 minutes, until the bottom is slightly browning.

Allow to cool on the cookie sheet for 2 minutes before removing. Yum!
