Our neighbor had this old bird house that she found in the trash somewhere. It was bottomless and she had always meant to do something with it but never got around to it so she gave it to me. It was pretty rotten but I thought it added to it's shabby chic/antique charm. I cut a scrap of wood to fit the bottom and mounted it on the old mailbox post.
I hung a little basket it on it and planted it next to the wood nymph fountain. I'm sure you can guess why we call her wood nymph (clue, look behind her. If you have to have piles of crap laying around you can at least give them charisma and mystique by giving them a patron saint!)
